Direction Did Not Work Out For This Family

No matter how much one likes films and how many films one watches, direction is not everyone's ball game.

Right now, there is lots of criticism about Sasikiran’s directorial film Saheba Subramanyam.

Many feel that the film is of a lesser quality than a movie and has been stretched too far like an on-going television serial.

Incidentally, in the past her father and well-known comedian MS Narayana directed films titled Koduku and Bhajantreelu. Both of them failed miserably at the box office. MS Narayana’s son too was rejected instantly.

Given that she comes from a family with such track record, there were many doubts about Sasikiran. And once her film released, many of these doubts have been confirmed. Since she had directed a serial in the past, her film more or less reminded one of an over-stretched serial, say industry insiders.

But one always learns from past mistakes and we hope she will do well in future.
