In 80s and 90s heroes used to prefer angry young man kind of roles to ensure safe play at box-office. From the beginning of new millennium there was change of guard, the young heroes picked longing for love stories. A new term popped in as ‘lover boy’. The first one in the list to be tagged as lover boy is hero Tarun. Though a child artist, Tarun debuted as hero with super hit love story, Nuvve Kavali in 2000.
