Mahesh Babu has been much appreciated by family audiences and whenever he touched upon a story that attracted the family audiences, his film has been a huge hit.
Though Prince did try to win them over with mass films, he has had mixed results. The more he experimented, more was the loss for his films. And that was also one of the reasons why 2014 turned out to be a nightmare of sorts for Mahesh.
It is known that both his releases last year did not do well at the box office. So, it is being said that Mahesh has decided not to experiment for at least some time.
He is taking care to make sure that the film attracts family audiences and then other sections of the audience.
Talk is that Koratala Siva’s Sreemanthudu is a full-fledged family entertainer. Though the film will be sprinkled with action scenes, it will primarily be a family entertainer, say unit members.
Similarly, Mahesh has also decided to do a family entertainer with Srikant Addala who had earlier directed him in Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Titled Brahmotsavam, the film is said to revolve around family sentiments.
For now, we are told that Mahesh wants to score with family entertainers and once he is back in form, he will look into experimenting once again.
