Gunasekhar has completed the shooting part of 'Rudramadevi' long back and his team is working on the VFX & other works. Earlier, Gunasekhar announced that the film will arrive for Sankranti. However, distributors were not ready to bet their money on this film for Sankranti and moreover, they were not fine with the rates said by the ‘Sainikudu’ director.
According to the latest reports, theatrical trailer of ‘Rudramadevi’ will be out for Sankranti. Stylish Star Allu Arjun will appear as Gona Ganna Reddy and so far, this is the only interesting news about the film. Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen & Catherine Tresa etc will be appearing in the lead roles and ‘Maestro’ Ilayaraja is composing the music. Gunasekhar himself is producing ‘Rudramadevi’ under Guna Team Works banner and the release date is yet to be out.
