Actress Esha: I learnt a lot from Allari Naresh

After making her debut in Mohana Krishna Indraganti's Anthaka Mundhu Aa Taruvatha, Eesha has teamed up for the second time in a row with the director in Bandipotu, which has Allari Naresh in the lead role. The actress is all praise for the actor since it was he who insisted on working with a Telugu-speaking actress in the film.

"I had met Naresh while dubbing for my previous film and later, I got to know that both Mohana Krishna and Allari Naresh were keen on having me on board. And it felt great that they chose me for the role," Eesha says, adding, "I play a role named Jahnavi, who is an independent working woman and it is a crucial role in the film. While Naresh plays a con who steals money from the rich and the corrupt, I steal his heart, which earned me a nickname in the film - 'Bandipoti' (laughs)."

During the course of the film's shoot, Eesha confesses that she struck a good chord with Allari Naresh, who apparently, went out of his way to give her tips in acting. "He has acted in nearly 50 films and it is a treat to watch him transform in front of the camera, no matter what his mindset is before coming on the set. That's a key lesson that I learnt from him. Moreover, we used to discuss about improvising on the sets, be it in terms of dialogues or expressions. He's a fabulous co-star," she says. Interestingly, the actress is an ardent admirer of comedian Sampoornesh Babu, who played a key role in the film. "I was thrilled to meet him in person and recently, when we went to promote the film in Vizag and adjoining areas, people flocked to see Sampoornesh. It was fun working with him, along with Allari Naresh."

As prolific as his career might have been so far, by his own admission, Allari Naresh finds it tough to focus during filming romantic scenes. The situation was no different on the sets of this film. Recalling an incident, Eesha reveals, "He finds it tough to look into an actress' eyes for more than two minutes and that's the key to romance. In fact, he even mentioned about this to the director, but he pulled it off in the end (smiles)."
