There are no two words when we say Mother Teresa is the epitome of selflessness and in a world where selfishness has touched its peak, it is only people like mother Teresa and their images that instill the faith in humanity. But one lady feels even Mother Teresa can also be brought into some feminism related lines.
She is none other than Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, the former wife of Bollywood filmmaker Sekhar Kapur and a very bold lady. Recently she got to share few thoughts on her blog which revolved around the image of glamorous women and how the world perceives it.
In that post, her lines went like this - 'See the pictures of Mother Teresa when she was young. She would have been a cover girl had she taken off her clothes too.' Now, what Suchitra has written may be true to an extent but many including women felt quoting the example of Mother Teresa was somewhat off the line. Not that Suchi cares but just an opinion being shared.
