Nandamuri fans never miss an opportunity to showcase their love for their favourite matinee idol Balakrishna. The latest is that fans are gearing up to gift a statue of "Grantie Lion" for Balakrishna and started preparations. As Balakrishna is the only "star son" to achieve the feat of acting in 100 films as lead, fans are gearing up to celebrate the event grandly. A brown coloured Crystal Granite Lion (1ox4.5 feet) costing around 1Rs Million (10 Lakh) has been ordered which is expected to be made within six to nine months.
Meanwhile, Balakrishna's wife and daughter-in-law of legendary NTR, Vasundhara Devi, is penning a forward for a book "Nandamuri Sikharam" which will also be presented to Balakrishna along with Lion Idol. The 1000-page book will talk about Balakrishna's cinematic journey, his achievements, collections' records along with the opinions of filmmakers, technicians who worked with Balayya.
The actor-politician is going through happiest phase of his life. While his 98th film Lion is due for release and the actor is going to team up with Sriwass for his 99th film, all eyes are on Balayya's landmark 100th film. Sai Korrapati is going to produce his 100th film.
