Eesha one of few Telugu-speaking actresses has teamed up with director Indraganti Mohana Krishna for the second time for the same reason. Allari Naresh starrer Bandipotu is her second after debuting in Anthaka Mundhu Aa Taruvatha.
She plays crucial role in the film apart from just sing and dance like in any other regular movie. “Naresh plays a con man and I play Jahnavi, an independent working woman. While he steals the corrupt, I steal his heart, which earned me a nickname in the film – ‘Bandipoti’,” quipped Eesha.
The actress also revealed that she is an ardent admirer of comedian Sampoornesh Babu, who played a significant role in the movie. “I was thrilled to meet him in person and recently, when we went to promote the film in Vizag and adjoining areas, people flocked to see Sampoornesh. It was fun working with him.”
