Costly History!
As Gunasekhar’s prestigious art work Rudhramadevi is gearing up for release. The historical epic drama is making tremendous business before release as per sources. According to the latest buzz the movie’s satellite rights are sold for an astronomical amount. A popular TV channel is said to have acquired the rights for whooping Rs.8.5 crores which is quite high for a heroine eccentric movie as Rudhramadevi is.
This Anushka starrer is touted to be India’s first historical 3D stereophonic movie. However, trade pundits argue that the movie fetched lump sum with presence of Allu Arjun who will appear in a pivotal role of ‘Gona Gannareddy’. The stylish star’s previous film Race Gurram was sold for 7.5 crores. Another hero Rana will also appear in the movie as a prince. Music is by maestro Ilayaraja. All these factors put together made it het huge price is what many feel.
