The recent film of super star Rajinikanth has not fetched the expected collections. EROS International sold the distribution rights to distributors in Tamil regions for a whooping sum and the distributors are not able to over come the losses. The protests by distributors community has led to talks with producer Rockline Venkatesh. He agreed to compensate 10% of their losses.
But the disagreement with this has led to intensify the protests. In a desperate move the distributors will stage begging protest in front of Rajinikanth’s house and also in front of theaters. A bowl will be kept in front of every theater and audience can donate as much as they can. A noted distributor stated that they will continue the protests until their loss is compensated. We should wait and see what will be the solution for this issue.
