Although superstar Mahesh Babu share good rapport with director Puri jagannadh, and duo openly stated that they'd come together for a film again after Pokiri and Businessman, the latest is that Mahesh Babu is on back foot now. After Temper, Mahesh reportedly put the film with Puri on hold.
Though Temper turned out to be commercial success, Puri's work has been widely criticised. Especially the film's first half was "lacking" in interest and lethargic which puts off many including Tarak's fans. However, NTR's performance in the second half and court scene, slaute scene said to have worked well. With this Mahesh is now mulling over the options. He is currently working with director Koratala Siva in Sreemanthudu. He'll be teaming up with Srikanth Addala next and may delay Puri's project.
"Yes, Mahesh Babu is supposed to team up with director Puri Jagannadh. Ashwini Dutt is expected to produced the project. But at the moment, the film is put on hold," said a source in the know.
