Jr NTR-Puri Jagannadh's latest offing might have opened to Box Office storm, but it didn't deter critics lamenting director Puri for the film's content and lethargic narrative. Although reviews and talk are mostly mixed to positive, many have pointed fingers at Puri's direction.
Especially, the film's first half received several brickbats. Besides the first half, the placement of songs at portions too hampers the film. Buzz has it that Jr NTR, with his electrifying performance, has rescued this big-budget film from tanking. Critics are harping on Puri's Pokiri hangover for reasons. "Had Puri has come out of Pokiri, Businessman mould, he would have done fair justice to Temper," said an industry insider. It's better late than never and it's high-time Puri should come out of his shell to do wonders like before.
