The poster of Bombay Velvet has been tweeted by Taran Adarsh and it looks rather good. Ranbir Kapoor who plays the role of a boxer who goes by the name Johny Balraj and Anushka Sharma who is a jazz singer playing the role of Rosie Noronha. The poster has a red backdrop which could very well be the sign of a bloody movie.
Other’s like Karan Johar who plays the negative role in the film as Kaizad Khambatta, the boss of a media empire with a bad attitude problem. Kay Kay Menon is an investigating officer but the better-known men in the poster are all wearing suits making it difficult to distinguish between the good and the bad guys. That may also be a point out to be proven by Anurag Kashyap that just by looks it is very difficult to differentiate between the good and the bad if you can wear the ‘right’ clothes.
The film is set in Bombay in 1960’s where Ranbir and Anushka’s life meets in unlikely circumstances. The film is scheduled to be released on May 15th, 2015. Stay tuned for the trailer release in a few hours before the India vs Bangladesh Quarter-Final match in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
