Looks like the senior actor and director Dasari Narayana Rao is in trouble yet again. According to the latest reports, the Enforcement Directorate is all set to attach Dasari's properties in the coal gate scam. We all know that the former Minister of State for Coal is under the ED scanner for his alleged involvement in money laundering in the infamous coal gate scam.
Apparently, the ED has finally identified few of Dasari's properties and decided to carry out the attachment process in the coming days. It was alleged that famous industrialist Naveen Jindal of the Jindal Steel and Power Limited transferred a sum of 2.25 crores into Saubhagya Media Limited, one of Dasari's firms, as a quid pro quo for the favors he enjoyed from Dasari in the Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block.
In the past too, Dasari was questioned on quite a few occasions in connection with the coal scam. Even though the senior director denied his involvement in the scam, it is learnt that the CBI has gathered solid evidences against him, which led the ED to take charge finally.
