How Will Dil Raju Respond?

When Tamil films are dubbed into Telugu, the titles are changed to attract audiences rather than stay true to the original Tamil ones.

Same appears to be the case with upcoming movie ‘Dil Raju’. Starring Siddharth in the lead role, the movie was originally made in Tamil as ‘Jigar Tanda’.

Translated into Telugu, this means ‘Dammunte Kasko’. However the buyers of the Telugu rights have titled the movie as ‘Dil Raju’.

Clearly it has no relevance to the original title. Besides, Dil Raju is a name that needs no introduction to Tollywood.

It remains to be seen how Dil Raju will react to his name being used in this fashion. Will he feel happy at the brand value of his name or angry that his name is being exploited?
