Raktha Charitra Producer Madhu Mantena is all set to marry his girl friend and designer Masaba Gupta. The engagement was celebrated on March 10 at the Marriott hotel in Mumbai and it was an intimate affair attended by close friends and family.
The engagement event was attended by B-town celebs, including rumoured couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. Riteish Deshmukh, his wife Genelia D'souza, Huma Qureshi and choreographer Bosco Martis were also seen at the event.
Masaba Gupta is daughter of veteran actress Neena Gupta and west indies cricketer Vivian Richards. Masaba mother Neena had a relationship with former West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards in the 1980s and, Masaba Gupta, was born out of the wedlock.
Masaba and Madhu two met through common friends and had been dating from quite some time. Masaba runs a fashion label with her own name, and has designed for various Bollywood actresses, like Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, etc.
Madhu Mantena has been the producer of various Bollywood films including Aamir Khan’s Ghajini. Madhu is also connected to Tollywood as a distributor turned producer.He was associated with RGV most of the time. The wedding shall take place in November and it is learnt that Vivian Richards agreed to attend the wedding ceremony of his daughter.
