MAA elections have indeed turned both controversial and interesting. While the group politics can’t be ignored and intrusion of egoes also have taken front seat. What has turned more interesting is the absence of big stars during voting except, the one and only Balakrishna, not to forget none of them took sides during the campaign phase as well.

Whatever might be the turnout of the voters for elections, it is obvious that many character artists and television artists came to cast their vote and they are the ones who are going to decide MAA President. Here MAA is talking about the problems of small and poor artists and the top heroes skipped elections.

The present top actors; Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, NTR, Prabhas and even self-made star Ravi Teja didn’t turn up. Even among the senior top four, only Balayya turned up. The founder President of MAA, megastar Chiranjeevi is said to be in Dubai and others busy, some holidaying and some busy with shootings.

Does that mean our top stars don’t have time for poor artists’ welfare? Or else is it below their stature to exercise vote in MAA elections? Does it conclude that as industry biggies, the common problems talked about in manifestos belong only to small artists and stars don’t even have a hint of the same? The total polled votes are declared as 394.
