Trailer Talk: Rudramadevi Is Visual Wonder

Here comes the first ever trailer of much awaited "Rudramadevi", the first ever historical drama being shot by a new generation director. Produced and directed by Gunasekhar, this films takes us into the celebrated Kakatiya Dynasty, it queen Rudrama and the enemies.

As usual, Rudramadevi is full of visual effects and computer graphics. The way Gunasekhar tried to recreate the 15th century magic on silver screen catches our attention in the first frame itself. As the director unveils each character, Anushka as a queen and Rana as her husband showcase mettle. Their attire, body language and characterization impressed big time. But the big show stealer is here. Uttering dialogues in a different slang Telugu, Allu Arjun looks riveting in the role of Gona Ganna Reddy. And the war scenes are going to be epic though much of the dish is not revealed in this 2 minute clip.

Coming to visual effects, they are not of Hollywood range but still it leads the pack of superior Indian movies that have quality CG work. While the trailer is little jerky at times, Ilayaraja's background score is not impactful. Costumes by Neeta Lulla and Thota Tharani's art direction made an impact. For now, this is a visual wonder for sure.
