After playing Ram Charan's uncle in Govindudu Andari Vadele, actor Srikanth is getting back to playing the `hero' next. Well, looks like he could be romancing Zareen Khan -the Katrina Kaif lookalike who was launched by Salman Khan in the Hindi film Veer -in the upcoming Telugu film, Jalsa Rayudu.
Apparently , director Sudheer Raju has been in touch with Zareen for the last one month. It is reliably learnt that the actress has agreed to act in the film in principle. "I wanted to spring a surprise with the film's casting. I saw Zareen's earlier films and was very impressed with her acting and dance skills. She fits the bill perfectly and when we approached her for the role, she agreed to do it. However, negotiations are still on. She is yet to sign on the dotted line," clarified director Sudheer Raju.
Tipped to be a romantic drama, Srikanth is said to be playing this rustic character in the film, that also stars Esther and Prachi Sinha.
