Koratala Siva, the director of Mahesh Babu's upcoming "Srimanthudu" wanted a fresh and a beautiful face for the meager yet pivotal role. He wanted the best and went for a talent hunt of unprecedented magnitude.

Know who is the lucky girl who finally got selected? It is Bengali actress Angana Roy. she plays a cameo, but it is a pivotal role. What more, she gets to share screen space with Mahesh.

Angana Roy is already on Cloud Nine with her picture along with Mahesh Babu, the actress stated "After screening almost 70 actresses for the role, director Koratala has finally got me on board. I'm excited to share screen with a star like Mahesh who has no airs about being one".

The shooting for 'Srimanthudu' is currently being conducted in Malaysia.
