Movie Artistes' Association (MAA) new president Dr Rajendra Prasad called on AP Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu at the State Secretariat here on Thursday.The Chief Minister congratulated Dr Rajendra Prasad and assured that the State Government would extend all required cooperation and assistance to the film industry in the newly formed State.
In his meeting with CBN, Rajendra Prasad is said to have sought the support of AP Government for implementing welfare programmes for MAA members.Stating that Dr Rajendra Prasad has vast experience and control over the film industry, he hoped that he would address the issues concerning all sections of the film industry.
Speaking to the media later, Rajendra Prasad described his meeting with the Chief Minister as formal and expressed confidence that CBN would continue his support for the film industry. Rajendra Prasad said the Chief Minister is evincing keen interest in taking forward the film industry.'
Its known that few days back Rajendra Prasad met Telangana Chief minister at secretariat.KCR felicitated the MAA Chief on the occasion and promised complete help and cooperation to film industry to sustain in Telangana State.
