April 24th was supposed to be the clash between Naga Chaitanya's 'Dochay' and Lawrence Master's 'Ganga'. While Dochay is carrying positive reports, Ganga (Kanchana 2 in Tamil) is a hit already in neighbouring tinsel town, so that positive word of mouth has mighty impact. On that note, both the films might lose revenues if they hit on same day. Isn't it?
As per the latest trade equations, no film is daring to compete with another biggie on same day to avoid opening shares. For that reason, one among Dochay or Ganga has to sacrifice April 24th. It seems like Bellamkonda Suresh is ready to sacrifice date of his horror movie for the sake of Chaitu's crime comedy. 'Ganga' has now got moved to May 1st, while Dochay will hit screens on April 24th itself. But to come to this settlement, it's heard that both earth and heaven are moved.
With a noted 'big' producer involving with the distribution of both these films at box office, and with his co-production dubbing venture doing great at some centres, and his other mega distribution venture that is minting huge bucks, it became tough to take a call.
