May be its umpteenth time we are discussing about Ram Gopal Varma’s histrionics on his micro-blogging site. In his yet another attempt to seek attention the maverick director took pot-shots at Malayalam superstar Mammootty. If you haven’t followed the story, RGV has come up fresh set of tweets after watching Maniratnam’s Ok Bangaram (Ok Kanmani) recently. He started heaping compliments on lead of the film, Dulquer Salman.
The synopsis of his set of tweets is that Dulquer is better actor than his father, Mammootty and the latter should learn acting from his son. This is what irked the veteran star’s fans that they started trolling RGV on the same site. Later he did apologize but that to with his mark panache,”@dulQuer I request u to Pls explain this to ur dad and if he too is offended I apologize to him too. But I still think u are far superior 2 ur father in my honest view as a democratic free citizen of india expressing my opinion.” [sic]
However, Dulquer played it safe, he didn’t respond to any of those comments by the director. Even in his success meet recently held at Hyderabad he was asked comment his views on it. But the diplomatic Dulquer passed the question. For another question whether he would team up with RGV in future, young star says, he would take a call if he likes the script.
