For the last couple of days, the southern media circles were abuzz with the sensational news of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan teaming p for Shankar's Robo 2. It has been discussed that Kamal will be playing the baddie in the film and Rajinikanth will reprise his role as a scientist. However, here comes a strong jolt to the movie in no time.
Kamal Haasan apparently will not be a part of this sequel since he denied playing the villain's role. While it is not sure if Shankar tried to convince him, sources are already saying that Shankar may approach Vikram to play the villain's role. On the other hand, several scribes even discuss that no such plans to cast Rajini and Kamal together have been discussed by Shankar.
While we will have to wait for few more days to get some clarity over the cast and other details of this prestigious project, fans of both the stars are desperately wishing that this casting coup indeed materializes and that they can again enjoy both these stars join forces like they did in the early days of their career.
