Kriti karbandha, heroine of pawan kalyan in Teen maar is re-entering Tollywood almost after two years. She is going to play the sister role for Charan in the film My Name Is Raju. Sreenu Vaitla is directing the film and DVV Danayya is the producer. The actress says that she took the suggestion of popular actor Upendra before accepting the role.
“I mentioned to Upendra about the offer. I was curious to know why he’d agreed to play a character role in Allu Arjun’s film, despite being a huge star in Sandalwood. He just said ‘Kriti…You just have to trust in yourself and take up the role, if you think it’s cool. You’ll know whether you made the right decision only after doing the film’. When an actor of his stature can be so calm and composed about taking up such roles in another industry, I didn’t see a reason why I should shy away from it.”
