Raai Lakshmi has got a golden chance. Lakshmi will be Bollywood bound if reports are anything to go by and she's been cast in Sonakshi's ongoing film being directed by AR Murugadoss. Billed to be a female-centric film with Sonakshi in the lead, the movie is titled as Akira.
Director Murugadoss apparently roped in Raai Lakshmi for an important role in the film. The movie also features BJP leader and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha who is for the first-time plays father to his own daughter Sonakshi on screen. However, buzz has it that both Shatrughan and Sonakshi won't share screen space as per the story line. We hear that Shatrughan will share screen with child Sonakshi Sinha in the film and he'll be dead before the child grows up into Sonakshi.
Raai Lakshmi is jinxed despite her good looks and acting prowess. Most of her films commercially failed at the ticket windows. Perhaps, this led Lakshmi to change her name. Lakshmi is now pinning high hopes on Sonakshi's Akira and expecting that this film would overturn her fortunes and shower more offers in Hindi. Let's wait and see.
