Many successful writers took to acting and once they clicked, they never looked back. Let’s take the example of Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, MS Narayana, AVS, etc, were all good writers before they got a break as actors. Of course, it is a totally different story that they did very well as actors.
Now, it is the turn of Posani Krishnamurali who is yet another writer-turned-actor. Since he has a different look and has different modulation when it comes to dialogue delivery, he clicked instantly and probably there is no film without him these days.
However, of late, there has been gossip that he has become repetitive and that he has been stereotyped.
Well, while accepting the same, Posani says that if the characters offered to him are routine, then his action would be similar in keeping with the characterization. For variety to happen, there must be variety in the kind of roles offered to him says he.
He further adds that if one looks at Nana Patekar’s acting, then while his style remains the same, his get-up changes. Similarly, in Hollywood, Harrison Ford has his unique style though his characters vary. So, he says his work must not be trivialized based on comments made by people who cannot stand his new-found success in the industry.
And being Posani, he says he is willing to take tuitions in acting from people who think he is simply repeating himself.
Of course, there is no denying that he is in demand as he has his own unique style.
