Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was convicted in 2002 hit-and-run case and may face a jail term of up to 10 years on charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
While pronouncing the verdict, Additional Sessions Judge DW Deshpande said to Salman - 'You were driving the car under the influence of alcohol and without a license. All charges stood proven'.
When the Judge asked the actor if he would like to saying anything, Salman Khan remained silent.
Salman Khan's Counsel pleaded the Judge for maximum punishment of 2 years and a fine considering the 'Being Human' side (charity work) of the actor.
The B-Town Hunk had tears in his eyes when the judge delivered the verdict. Quantum of punishment will be announced Tomorrow.
