For its non-stop entertainment though of predictable story, the flick won support from audiences and showcased its power from first day.
Successful Telugu films are always big bet for other language tinsel towns and Pataas is no exception. After looking at the BO performance, many producers from Hindi, Tamil and Bengali tinsel towns came running with suitcases to buy remake rights. As the Tamil remake rights are acquired by producer RB Chowdary, everyone anticipated that his son, hero Jeeva, will play the lead role, But here is the shocker.
Talking about the success of "Ganga" at Telugu box office, dance master Lawrence revealed that his next film is nothing but remake of "Pataas". In this Tamil flick, he is not showcasing his creativity as a director but he's the hero of the film. Quite unexpected move, isn't it?
