Hero Sachin lost 40 crores investment

A Bollywood trade reporter has compiled list of celebrities who have invested themselves to make them stars on silver screen. The list includes the likes of Himesh Reshamiya and Lara Dutta who have recently produced their own films and tasted dust.

Among the list, the big loser seems to be Sachin Joshi, who is well known to Telugu audiences from a time with movies like “Mounamelanoyi” and “Oraai Pandu”. This millionaire businessman has made his Bollywood debut with the movie “Aazann” in 2011 and produced another film “Jackpot” with him and Sunny Leone in the leads. Both the films tanked at box office and as Sachin put an approximate investment of 50 crore, he lost nearly 40 crores of it.

He is now getting ready with his upcoming Telugu flick “Mogali Puvvu” (Affair in Hindi), being directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
