Upcoming mega hero Varun Tej is working quite hard for his second flick in order to taste a commercial success along with critical acclaim. After his sparkling debut "Mukunda" failed to create a splash at box office, this mega brother's son is trying in his best possible ways to satisfy the humungous mega fan base.
Acclaimed director Krish is carving the second film of Varun Tej. Titled "Kanche", this film is set in 1940s world war II and Indian Zamindari backdrop. Signing a period flick is like playing with fire as the expressions need to be powerful, while the scope to experiment is minimal. And Krish is known for his beautiful philosophical emotions that require gem of an actor to portray true character.
Coming to the Russia trip, the unit of Kanche is now heading to Georgia, Russia to film certain scenes. This foreign connection, that too in a period drama, is an interest lot to wait for. We've seen period dramas only as flashbacks in our Telugu movies in the modern cinema but not a whole cinema in that background. Director Krish says he wants to finish shoot and then create hungama about the film rather revealing everything now.
