India's biggest motion picture Baahubali, which took Box Office collections by storm, is the talk of the town now. While this SS Rajamouli's directorial continues to rake in moolah, many are drawing connections the story of the epic battle film to historical events and real-life incidents.

Among all, the interesting thing that is gaining many eye-balls is Telangana's Nizamabad connection to Baahubali. According to historians, jain-king Baahubali had his roots in Bodhan of Nizamabad and he ruled the Bodhan province then. He too had tiff with his cousin Bharatha and waged a war with Bharatha for the empire. However after having a vigorous battle which saw several deaths, Baahubali realizes his fault and reconciles his decision to not to kill brother for empire. It is learnt that there are also historical evidences to show that Baahubali ruled Bodhan.

Now this story of Jain king Baahubali is being correlated to SS Rajamouli's visual spectacle Baahubali. Although Rajamouli made it clear that his film is purely a fiction and story written by his writer-father is only inspired from epic Mahabharatha and not connected to any other king, few are differing with Rajamouli and trying to project Baahubali's story is based on the Jain king who ruled Telangana.
