As he looks handsome and staggering at height of 6 feet and 3 inches, people like CM KCR felt that he will become the Telugu Amitabh Bachhan. But debutant Shreyan Kapoor disappointed everyone with his first flick "Basthi" as the lacklustre story and worst performance of the actors goes for a toss in this otherwise meaningless movie. Though Shreyan is confident of learning from consequences, his mother actress-politician Jayasudha feels that he believed wrong persons.
"Dear son, since you have learnt from the consequences of trusting the wrong people, I wish you better luck next time. I am sure that with hard work and dedication you will one day make a name for yourself to reckon with", said Jayasudha. With many blasting her son's acting alone as a biggest minus, it's surprising to see that talented actress Jayasudha is pushing blame on someone else. Maybe her mother-heart got wounded because her son faced huge defeat with first flick itself. Probably Shreyan should have done more home work before picking up a commercial entertainer, which is what Jayasudha wants to say.
Otherwise, blaming the director and producer alone isn't the right thing maybe, because they invested around 5 crores for this film, say industry insiders. Even Jayasudha delivered some utter flops with leading directors during her hey days. Flops are nothing but ideas that aren't properly clicked or presented, but they are those who teach most valuable lessons. Hope Shreyan learns his lesson properly and brings happiness for his mother.
