Sometime back it is revealed that even a happening starlet like Samantha hasn't charged more than a crore when it comes to Telugu movies. Except Kajal who has demanded 2 crores from her producers, all other hot starlets are said to be charging anything between 80-90 lakhs per film.
Recently a happening producer, who is known for signing deals with heroines at a cheaper cost, has approached seductress Shruti Haasan to star in his son's next movie. Much to his amusement, our Mumbai-Chennai remix lady gave him a quotation for 1.3 crores exactly. And that doesn't include her flight allowances, hotel stay at The Park in Hyderabad, and 1st class air tickets of her team. Though Film Chamber has passed rules long back that heroines of star range should be accommodated only in 3-star hotels, but still they are being given that 7-star treatment only. Anyway, Shruti's remuneration will be nearly 1.5 crores will all inclusive with these facilities provided.
They say Bollywood producers are ready to pay 1.5 crores for Shruti because their own Alia Bhatt, Shradda Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha are demanding for 5 crores. Anyway, 1.5 crores for Shruti would be surely a thousand volts electric shock for our producers. Meanwhile, what's Rakul and Rasi charging? Somewhere between 50-70 lakhs.
