In the days when most filmmakers dread to make their films go beyond 140-145 mins, makers of Kick 2 braved the norm and released a film of 161 mins duration. Films of such a long duration must possess a great story and screenplay to make the audiences sit through the whole film patiently.
However, Kick 2 failed in succeeding in this and got mixed reviews from the early shows itself and many complained of the film's excessive length. To salvage the situation, the think tank of the film quickly did the needful and kicked out nearly 20 minutes from the film and a majority of it was from the second half.
With this latest edit, Kick 2 will now be more taut and racy and will surely thrill the mass, comedy lovers. While the first half of the film was alright, problems were majorly in the second half, which have been rectified. Already, the film is heading towards a solid weekend by registering record shares in Ravi Teja's career. So, enjoy a much tighter Kick 2 once again.
