Even before the release, Akhil Akkineni's maiden movie continues to create storm in the tinsel town. The latest we hear is that the launch of Akkineni hero is scaring several leading distributors. According to sources, producers Nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy are quoting big figures to buyers. Although many are interested to buy, due to exorbitant prices, most of them are dropping as there is no choice.
Even we hear that Abhishek Pictures which initially came to buy Nizam rights opted out of it. We hear that the price of theatrical rights in Nizam is quoted as Rs 14 Crore and the price for rights in Andhra is pegged at Rs 17 Crore. Since producers are quoting big prices, several top distributors are shunning away from buying.
Christened as Akhil, ace director VV Vinayak is wielding the megaphone. Newcomer Sayesha Saigal who has roots in Bollywood is making her T-town debut alongside Akhil. The music composed by Thaman & Anup is likely to be unveiled on Sep 20th on the eve of birth anniversary of legendary ANR.
