The two-minute odd theatrical trailer of Shivam is absolutely hilarious and looks promising. Energetic Star Ram does his trademark comedy and tickles ones funny bones. He is supported by a slew of comedians like Brahmanandam, Srinivasa Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, 'Satyam' Rajesh, Sapthagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, 'Fish' Venkat and etc. Ram and Rashi Khanna, who are pairing up with each other for the first time, are easy on eyes and the duo's on-screen chemistry seems worked out well. Going by the trailer, Shiva (Ram) is easy-going, happy-go-lucky guy who falls for the girl (Rashi). He has a simple funda - Wait till the girl you like and then fight for her when needed.
Abhimanyu Singh, of Gabbar Singh fame, is good as baddie. He is supported by Vineet Kumar who shot to fame with SS Rajamouli's Vikramarkudu. Newcomer director Srinivasa Reddy, former protege of director Surender Reddy, handled the movie well. The songs shot in the picturesque locales of Norway, Sweden gives good feel, experience. Devi Sri Prasad's music is tipped to be one of the highlights. 'Sravanthi' Ravi Kishore is producing the film under his home banner Sravanthi Movies while Krishna Chaitanya Pothineni is presenting the film. Since Sravanthi Movies celebrating its 30th anniversary, the makers have taken up Shivam as prestigious one and leaving no stone unturned to promote it. Let's wait and see for the final verdict.
