Prominent hero and contestant for the Nadigar Sangam elections Vishal was attacked on Sunday.
It is believed that supporters of the incumbent Sarathkumar attacked him near the polling booth in St. Ebbas School at Mylapore. Vishal was immediately rushed to his caravan and provided first aid.
Meawhile, Vishal alleged that the opposition team members attacked him fearing defeat in the elections.
