Director Shankar is a perfectionist. He doesn't mind asking his actors to do whatever a scene demands. He won't even bother demanding his actors going naked. We had seen such kind of scene in Boys, where hero Siddharth walks nude on the road. He troubled Superstar Rajinikanth also by making him to perform deadly stunts in Robo. Now, he is not sparing a Hollywood actor too.
It is a known fact that, Hollywood Legend Arnold Schwarzenegger was approached to play antagonist in Robo 2, for which he was offered Rs 100 crores. Shankar was not too excited when Arnold gave his nod to act in the film. Apparently, he will be blissful when Arnold passes a trial test. Shankar will conduct a screen test for the Hollywood actor in Los Angeles and he will confirm Arnold only if he is pleased with the latter's look.
Lyca Entertainment that will produce the high budget entertainer is spending around 160 to 180 Cr for actors and technicians remunerations. With huge production and post production works to comprise, Robo 2 will be made with highest ever budget for an Indian cinema.
Amy Jackson is confirmed to play Rajinikanth lady love in the graphical extravaganza, while AR Rahman is roped in to score music.
