Mega hero Varun Tej is not picking up any mass films. At least his debut flick Mukunda and second film Kanche haven't sounded mass, because of their concepts. Here comes his first tryst with the commercial genre under Puri Jagan's guidance.
"Loafer" is the name, and its the story of a petty thief who gets separated from his mother (Revathi) as his father (Posani) takes him away just to raise him up like another loafer like him. Varun Tej's looks, grace of Revathi, Posani's timing are the three essential ingredients we could feel in the trailer release today. With body language of a pakka mass star, Varun impresses with his dialogues, dances and fights. Meanwhile, Disha Patani provides huge support in glamour department while Ali and Brahmi are handling comedy together. On a whole the trailer looks promising which this mother-father-hero emotion sounded little regular.
PG Vinda's cinematography is pleasing, while Sunil Kashyap's background score is not up to mark. However, Puri Jagan seems to be coming back with vengeance to score a big hit after a long time. Hope the mass version of Varun Tej will help him do that magic.
