While Akkineni fans and industry bigwigs are breaking their heads over who will be directing Akhil's second film, here comes the surprising news. Highly-placed sources close to Akkineni compound divulged an interesting update that well-known choreographer-turned-director Lawrence is being considered to direct Akhil for the next film.
Considering that Lawrence has great rapport with Nag and directing Nag in films Mass and Don, Nag is contemplating to zero in on the Style director. Lawrence's last film Kanchana 2 (Muni 3) in Telugu was an average grosser and previous film Rebel with Prabhas tanked without a trace.
Talk is that Raghava Lawrence's name is under consideration but nothing has been finalised so far. Nag is weighing various other options but all are kept under the wraps. While top directors in Telugu industry are not doing well for a while, director Rajamouli, Trivikram are occupied with other projects. This is perhaps why Nag is eyeing at Tamil directors. Let's wait and see. If all goes well, Lawrence will be directing Akhil.
