It was Stylish Star Allu Arjun, who stood as 'Hero of the Year, 2014' with the year's biggest blockbuster result of 'Race Gurram'. Allu Arjun delivered two back to back 50 crores movies 'S/o Satyamurthy' and 'Rudhramadevi'. Although both the movies got above average to success results, none of the movies scored resounding hits such that he can't be in 'Hero of the Year' race. 'Baahubali' turned as a miraculous hit this year at All India level. 'Srimanthudu' saved Mahesh from another debacle in a row. Moreover, the movie has stood as an all time second biggest grosser of Tollywood at the moment. The concept of give something to your hometown from your earnings else you would grow fat, worked quite well and some people got inspired with Mahesh's character. That's why, Mahesh can be treated as the 'Hero of the Year, 2015'.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun had no competition to be treated as 'Hero of the Year' for 2014. However, there might be contradiction of opinions for 'Hero of the Year, 2015'.
