The talk in the industry for the past few days is that Shraddha Kapoor is being considered for the Mahesh Babu starrer to be directed by Murugudoss after the shoot of Brahmotsavam. On the other hand, there was a buzz that Koratala Siva was trying to rope in the same actress for his film with NTR.
The actress including Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra are in demand in Bollywood and they are not inclined towards a career in South as the general assumption is the roles etched for a female actor is very superficial and is confined to song, dance and a few scenes.
Shraddha Kapoor is said to have quoted 3 crores and a little more. Usually when a leading actress is approached for a film and they are not interested in the project, they cite dates unavailability or quote a huge figure for a remuneration so that the producer backs off. This is exactly what has happened in Shraddhas case.
