A Telugu film actress has filed a complaint with police alleging that rape attempt was made against her in Kolkata. Going into the story, if reports are to be believed, an unidentified person allegedly molested a Tollywood actress near her Kolkata residence. As per the sources, the actress was grabbed by an unidentified man while she was going home after finishing the shoot at around 1.40 am on Sunday.
Apparently, she almost reached her apartment when an anonymous person grabbed her from behind. The actress has lodged a complaint in a police station in Kolkata. In the complaint she quoted that he tried to rape her when she fell down on the floor, but she managed to escape from his grip.
She further stated that the unrecognized culprit escaped the scene snatching her mobile phone upon her screams for help. Police have registered a case and are on the look of CCTV footage at her apartment.
