These days it has become a trend to come up with a short film. We’ve seen many Tollywood stars being featured in short films like Allu Arjun and Lakshmi Manchu in the direction of top directors Sukumar and Ram Gopal Varma respectively. Puri Jagannadh also has announced a contest for young film makers to make short films on the short stories he gives. Now another director is caught up with this trend.
Successful director Teja who made trendsetting super hit films like Chitram and Nuvvu Nenu coming up with his own short film, the film will be more of a documentary highlighting the Telugu culture, history and tradition. The film is titled as “Cheyyetti Jaikottu Telugoda”. Reportedly, the makers are designing the documentary in an entertaining way so as to appeal to audience from varying backgrounds. Kethireddy Jagadeshwar Reddy will be producing this documentary film.
Apparently, the director is doing intensive research on the subject from some time now. The film will concentrate on the famous personalities of rulers to poets of the past era to highlight the greatness of Telugu culture.
