Believe It Or Not
Actually…Adah Sharma is a south Indian. Actually…is the euphemistic term used by the actress in her recent offing, Allu Arjun’s starrer S/o Satyamurthy. Indeed Adah is pure south Indian. Perhaps, the girl finds it tough time make people believe. Blame it on her looks and the name. Adah is born in Palakkad where her mother is from.
She still visits her maternal home twice a year. “I’m a Tamil Brahmin. My father hailed from Madurai and my mother is a native of Nattupura on the border of Palakkad. I was brought up in Mumbai. Friends think my thick eyebrows have south Indian tale to tell,” says the Heart Attack beauty. Adah Sharma is also a certified Kathak dancer. She says, only when I speak Tamil or wear an south Indian attire, people identify me. Her food habits might make people believe she is one. Adah is candy for Idli, Dosa, Sambar and Rasam.
“Those who want to eat Indian map, can have dosa made by me,” quips the chirpy lass. Her father, late Lt SL Sharma worked in Merchant Navy. Adah says, her surname is ‘actually’ pronounced as ‘Sarma’ and father’s name becomes surname in south. She has been to Kerala recently for promotion of SOS. Adah feels it’s like home coming. She is currently shooting for Sai Dharam Tej’s Subramanyam For Sale and Aadi starrer Garam.
