Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is still to pass his litmus test. The young star has already completed 6 years and acted in 10 films so far. He is yet to create his niche. Chaitanya had his hand in action entertainers like Bezawada and Dhada, but unfortunately they haven’t fared well. However another mass flick Tadakha had a better run at box-office being a remake of Tamil hit. Now, he has come up with stylish con entertainer, Dohchay.

This movie received mixed talk and industry pundits feel it may not pass the breakeven mark. Whatsoever, Naga Chaitanya has flair for romantic entertainers. Akkineni fans attribute it to be in his blood. Utmost ease with which carries ‘lover boy’ roles like in movies Ye Maya Chesave, Manam and Oka Laila Kosam reaffirms that. Fans feel its high time he should try one again to make it big. Chaitanya too might be thinking same. As per the buzz, Chai may team up with Gautham Menon again.

The director who is famous for stylish flicks has etched Ye Maya Chesave into classic romantic entertainer. If the grapevine is to be believed, star writer Kona Venkat will be producing this film and discussions are underway. However Naga Chaitanya’s next is with director Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame will be officially launched soon. Tamannaah is believed to have roped for this movie as female lead. Annapurna Studios will be producing it. Gautham Menon directorial may start once Chai completes this film.
