As per reliable sources, producer cum distributor Sai Korrapati of Vaarahi Chalana Chitram, has acquired the distribution rights of upcoming historic 3D film Rudhramadevi for Krishna district for Rs 2.8 Crore. Apparently Sai Korrapati has also distributed industry hit film Baahubali in Krishna region.
As Sai acquired the rights, now many distributors are vying for the rights of Rudhramadevi as Sai is known as a producer with acute judgement. It seems that the grand success of Baahubali is working in favour of Rudhramadevi and Gunasekhar is the happiest man. As period film Baahubali is minting money at the box office, makers hope that Rudhramadevi will also repeat the trend as it is India's first stereoscopic 3D historical film.
Starring Anushka in lead role, it also has Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjujn in supporting roles.
