Story:Jagannatakam Movie Review
Prudhvi (Pradeep Nandan) is a simple who want to become an actor. He leads a simple life and fond of his father and sister. One day he meets a girl Bhanu (Khanesha Chandran) and falls for her at the first sight. During the same time, he gets a call from director Rajamouli for a film. He shares the news with his friends and celebrates with them to the fullest. Here is the twist. He gets shocked and got to know that his father died in a mysterious circumstances and his sister was missing from the scene. What happened to his sister? How and why his father died suddenly is the remaining story.
Analysis:Jagannatakam Movie Review
Jagannatakam is a revenge based on human emotions and thrilling sequences. The second part of the movie is thrilling and interesting to bits. The agony of a young man who was jolted by the tragic death of his father and is on the look out of his sister was wonderfully etched by director Pradeep Nandan. As if it looks the director might have inspired by Mani Ratnam and has used the screenplay back and forth which apparently leaves the audience in confusion.
There is no appropriate justification to the protagonist’s friend Srinu character. The director failed to establish a connection as to why Srinu does those dastardly things. Antagonist’s character was poorly showed.
Performances:Jagannatakam Movie Review
Pradeep Nandan is very promising and he dealt the subject well , though he is a new comer. Certainly he will be one of the best directors in future. Sexy Khanesha Chandran, leading lady of the movie is rigid and hardly emotes. She is a misfit as the female lead. Avinash evoked a few smiles as a petty thief. Sridhar gets a meaningful role but he cannot able to give his contemporaries a run with his offbeat voice and deprived performance.
Technicalities:Jagannatakam Movie Review
Ajay Arasada music is quite soothing, while his background score is not upto the mark. Muthyala Satish’s cinematography is outstanding and elevates the essence of the film.

Verdict:
Overall, Jagannatakam, despite its best intentions and few successes, fails in many others. Pradeep Nandan is steadfast with unfamiliar approach under Hollywood influence.However it can be watched once for Pradeep Nandan efforts.
