Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is currently shooting for ‘Srimanthudu’ in the outskirts of Hyderabad, is likely to attend the US premiere of the film in July. A source says, “The actor enjoys a great fan base across US.
He wanted to visit the country sometime back itself but somehow things didn’t fell into place. And when Mythri Movies which is producing ‘Srimanthudu’ has put forward a proposal of promoting the film in US, he readily accepted.
Moreover, TANA (Telugu Association of North America) Celebrations too are set to take place around the same time and Mahesh is expected to grace the celebrations as the chief guest.”
A directorial venture of Koratala Shiva, the film, an action drama loaded with family emotions, will open in cinemas on July 17 globally. Shruti Haasan is paired opposite Mahesh.
